Olivion opens a window onto southern Crete, a region known for olive oil with character, clarity, and a strong sense of origin.

At the heart of this landscape lies Messara, the largest plain in Crete, stretching across southern Heraklion, protected by surrounding mountains and shaped by the dry climate and generous southern sun. These conditions create an environment in which olive trees thrive.

The olive variety at the center of this identity is Koroneiki, Greece’s best-known oil olive variety, valued for its intensity, elegance, and consistency. In the PDO zone of Messara, the specification is tied to 100% Koroneiki olives, giving the region a distinctive and recognisable profile.

Olivion’s first collection features Vafis olive oils, produced in the greater Messara valley and expressive of their Cretan origin: low acidity, high polyphenols, fresh green aromas, balanced fruitiness, and a lively peppery finish.

This is olive oil shaped by place, variety, and careful production, presented with a clean and contemporary approach for those seeking authentic quality from southern Crete.
